In 2014 kreeg hij aandacht voor zijn gedurfde optreden in de erotische film "Love of Love" en won hij de 36e Yokohama Film Festival's Outstanding Newcomer Award. De prijs werd ook door 1.000 insiders in de "Japanese Artists List" uitgeroepen tot "2014".
